Soy wax is created from all natural soy. As a natural wax, soy wax does not contain palm wax, petroleum, paraffin, beeswax, pesticides, herbicides, toxic materials or genetically modified material. This pure soy wax is natural and biodegradable, manufactured meeting FDA standards, Kosher certified and not tested on animals. Soy wax is also considered GRAS under the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and supported by many different organizations, including many companies that sell candle making supplies and candles made from soy wax. Organizations include the National Candle Association, Personal Care Products Council, International Housewares Association, International Guild of Candle Artisans, and the United Soybean Board.
